Anyone have contacts in Singapore that could help manufacture a product for personal use? I'm trying to help a friend who is developing something for market in the US. They almost have their patent. Their experience with China so far has not been that favorable. Thanks.

Is this for development or final production? What was the problem with China? Each country seems to have their niche in manufacturing and China is more on the mass production rather than development side of things. But other than that no, I don't know anyone in Singapore.
FWIW your best bet for development is still the US and Europe where there still seems to be a greater availability of craftsmen/Toolmakers than Asia.

I would suggest looking at Taiwan perhaps.
I have a friend who has a product design company (in London) and he does most manufacturing in Taiwan.
