she had a bb gun.. but get this:

Officer Melvin Finkel scrambled to get in position and, unfortunately, slipped on a fresh banana peel. In a series of cascading blunders, his sidearm flew out of his hand as he fell backwards landing on a box of donuts. The pistol, not having the safety on, fired one round into his groinal region.

Not even a traditional BB gun, but an airsoft pistol. Helluva thing for you to shoot yourself in the groin over.
