Kraichgau 70.3: Lange vs Frodo
Almost lost in the shadow of the challenge championship we have the next stop on the Frodo redemption tour this Sunday, vs Patrick Lange.

Also in the field is Andy Boecherer (who whipped Lange earlier this year iirc) and Nic Kastelein. Should be a good race but I bet we won’t be able to watch it.

Lange really needs a full marathon to have any hope to beating the top 70.3 guys he spanks at Kona. I would expect that he has no more than a 1 minute faster run, and only because it won't matter to those in front of him. I just think his real strength is not slowing down, an attribute well suited to 8 hour races, but not 3;45 ones..

I dont see him winning this race with this field, of course he can still do well and get as close as possible. He is a lot like Paula Newby or Rinny in this regard, just keep moving at the same fast speed, and the others will come back in long distance races..

Yep, agree with everyone that Frodo should take it. Andi has a chance though I think.
