What is your favorite prefab plan (Trisutto, etc)? Why? In need of some assistance with limited funds.

You didn't mention what distance you are racing.

Lowest budget

For 140.6 - I would recommend IronFit by Don Fink - you can pick up used copies of his book for a few dollars. Excellent 30 week plans. He also has a 70.3 book, which you can find used copies.

Medium budget
If you train with power and ride frequently indoors - Trainerroad.com - they have various plans for about every distance and is a monthly or annual subscription. Monthly is like $12 bucks.

If I wasn't using Traineroad I would be using IronFit for 140.6 & 70.3.

I second trainerroad. Currently at week 16 of a 3 phase mid-volume full distance plan and am really enjoying it.
