recombent on a trainer?
So I am recovering from shoulder surgery, and my Dr is a little concerned with me using my roadbike on the trainer to keep up my fitness while I mend. has anyone has success in using a recumbent on a trainer? I have a Wahoo snap, and I am looking at a Burley-Kooshah recumbent with a 26" rear wheel.
I mean it is not like I am trying to ride in a halo brace...
thank you

Funny enough I took a tumble on my bike this morning and landed directly on my left shoulder. Hopefully it’s not too bad but I’m already contemplating how to keep my bike fitness up. I’m thinking about putting my PowerTap pedals on a recumbent bike at my gym.

I would guess that the biggest issue would be wheel size. Will your trainer work with a smaller wheel?

Looking at Wahoo spec's it lists 26"MTB as fitting. Doesn't mention 26" road either way, I imagine it will still work; as long as you could clamp the recumbent in.

If it's temporary, maybe use a gym recumbent until you are healed.

But, I must ask - how long is your beard and what style of Birkenstocks do you wear?

The beard is only 8 days old, one day before the crash. Do birks have holes for cleats?

So it looks like it should work for the most part. Thank you.
