Hello All,

This is neat ....

Satellite life time VIP license costs $9.99 + $349 for Garmin device.

Error on Satellite connection fee above .... see rate schedule from DCRainmaker posted below.


Cheapest plan is $12/month.

Looks like this VIP fee is for Clever Training .... not Iridium Satellite.

I might dump my SPOT tracker that I use for in the middle of nowhere adventures for this. It checks a bunch of my wish list items.

Much better features (satellite communications) than a SPOT and much better size and price than the prior InReach/Garmin offering. The integration with Garmin Fenix/Forerunner is not unexpected from Garmin, but not sure that would be one of my priorities or needs.

Curious, where are you getting the lifetime license cost of $9.99 ?
Because the garmin website says $12 to $80 per MONTH.
Not cheap.
