Me too I was wondering if 35-39 rolled down 20+ times... also how far under 9 someone could go without qualifying.

Do sportsstats normally capture Kona slots? That would be cool

M 35-39 rolled one slot due to winner not taking his it seems. Prob already qualified.
So 8:46 low or forget it. 8 slots I think.

M45-49 also rolled 1 slot due to 4th place already having qualfied. (11 slots)
So 9:06 low.

There may have been 1 other roll down but think that was it.

Snapped up like hot cakes!

Early season lot of slot races, makes sense. Especially based in USA.

Saw in another thread that of 80 slots, only 4 rolled and nothing went far.

The peloton wasn't in the mood to let anything get away on the weekend.

Looks like WTC might have updated their math in slot allocations? In another recent thread there were two calculations presented to figure out which age group slots to round up after fractional slots are calculated...one including the guaranteed slot, and one not, based on the % to the next slot. This allocation doesn't fit with either, as M40-44 and M45-49 had 9.71 and 9.85 total fractional slots initially. They were 97% and 98% to the next slot, so that rounded up to 10. However, then it looks like they were considered 90.9% to the next slot, which was higher than the other divisions, so they ended up with 11.
