Since we're talking about cost, my deck tape was an offcut from the local board shop (skate/snow/surf). They gave it to me for free.

We are doing it in pieces right now, getting ready for Wildflower. But we do plan on making an offering on most of it here before we go there, so stay tuned. I did put up some tubular tires on the classifieds, but seems not many use them anymore, too bad as they are cheap. Need any grips?? (-;

Do you have any links to the product or pics to share?

Well funny you should ask, In out trisports hoard we have some profile base and extension bar end grips. They looks pretty cool and eliminate the need for bar tape. To me that is the real beauty besides having a nice rubber grip to hold onto when there is some heavy sweating involved.

Come in 4 paks(two for base bar, two for extensions I guess) I sell you very good price....

I'm interested. Thanks!

I figure 4 bucks a grip, comes in paks of 4, but guess I could split it up if you only need two..Lots of colors and combos, white, red, black, and combos of those as I recall. I will be going on Tuesday so will take a closer look. I think they were originally about 10 bucks each..

Well I definitely may be interested, just not sure what they are exactly. I could use something different than I have.

Sounds great Monty. I'm in, probably for black.

Electricians use "heat shrink" which might work okay, but what I use are foam gardening tool handles. A DIY shop nearby sells them for less than $1.00 and they slip right on. My current set on the bars is just a tad too soft to offer any absorption, but the ones on my aerobars are a bit firmer. So, I'll swap those out when they get them right size in stock.

The more people I encounter the more I love my cats.

I've had the same set of ESI silicone mountain bike grips for about a year now. Will likely pull them off and trim them up when I re-cable my bike here in the next month or so.
