Citigroup, Gun sales requirements
Heard this on the radio a while ago, and thought "I don't have a problem with that" till the last of the list. High capacity magazines would be every gun retailer...am I missing something, or is this a big f'ing deal. (feel free to criticize me for not having a problem with the other things)

"The new policy, announced Thursday, prohibits the sale of firearms to customers who have not passed a background check or who are younger than 21. It also bars the sale of bump stocks and high-capacity magazines. It would apply to clients who offer credit cards backed by Citigroup or borrow money, use banking services or raise capital through the company."

Can I use my Citi card to still purchase cigarettes, alcohol, or pay my tab at the local strip club? Or is Citigroup's morality selective?

This is nothing more than social grand standing.

ETA- Social grand standing in order to bring in more investors and customers. Can't say I blame them, Citigroup's sole purpose is to make their investors money.
