I had a guy yesterday -- who voted for Two Scoops -- explain to me in great detail, from both a fiscal as well as strategic standpoint, just why this spending bill is actually sane fiscal policy on the part of the GOP. My reply? (And Democrats are just as bad with the spend-like-a-drunken-sailor -- and I used to be one of those, so I know what I'm talking about -- spending. ;-)

Word has it that Trump rush-signed the bill because, it arrived on his desk on Friday, was too big to read thoroughly, was told by aides that it would not look good, if he didn't sign, with the the government set to shut down on Friday night, and he, Trump wanting to go golfing on the weekend, so he signed, of course all this after tweeting earlier in the day, saying that he would veto the whole thing . . are you still with me! And so it goes - the "president" of chaos, confusion and incompetence - so he can go golfing! - "If I'm president, I'm not going to play much golf.
