I got it done with 3 neighbours -- we all promised our wives we'd do it so we did it the same day.
Each one of us recovered in different ways. One guy was pretty much 100% the next day, another needed a single day off work, I needed to be off my feet completely for the weekend (I timed it with Kona watching, which was awesome!), then i needed the remainder of the week until i started to feel normal again.
I just listened to my body when it came to exercise, started biking easy the next week, but I didnt run at all for 3 weeks because i could tell just by walking fast that it wouldnt be good if i did.
