Special counsels and special prosecutors are generally a bad idea. History shows they usually overreach, for one. They also typically aggravate the existing partisan divide, as one side stands on the sidelines cheering them on (as you're seemingly doing) while the other side throws rotten eggs and does everything it can to denigrate them. We have mechanisms for holding presidents accountable. They're called "Congress, working with the Department of Justice" as well as "Congress exercising its impeachment power." These special counsels and prosecutors tend to become a law unto themselves. Bad juju, right there.

That seems kind of cruel. And something that would draw a future lawsuit.
