Struggling to confirm compatibility so wondered if anyone knew which Power2Max power meter is the right fit for a Specialized Shiv with Turn by Praxis crankset?

Thanks
Jon

I would suggest emailing Power2Max. I have 2 of their power meters. Customer service is awesome. Their website can be somewhat confusing with regard to technical compatibility answers, but they are quick and responsive to questions via email and will definitely hook you up with the right answer. I had one power meter on a cervelo and wanted to move it to a Cannondale and they walked me through my options for being able to put it on a different bike with a different BB.

Pretty much any of them. FSA 386 or Rotor 30 need a 386 conversion BB

Or Rotor 24 would work with a Shimano conversion BB like this https://wheelsmfg.com/...-bearings-black.html

There is another adaptor if you wanted to get SRAM cranks too. If there is a possibility you'll be swapping it between bikes go with SRAM as it's easiest to undo and redo.

The turn BB will not work with any non Praxis crank, so you're definitely up for changing that.

thanks! It’s the whole BB mystery that had me looking at pedal based meters to begin with! Thanks for the advice.

UPDATE: Got hold of Power2Max - seems Facebook messenger is the best way. They confirmed my bike has BB30 bottom bracket, that I would need an adapter BB386-30A then I can use either the FSA Gossamer or FSA K-Force!

That would be bad advice on their part. The 30A is for Cannondales offset BB30A format and would not work for your normal BB30.
Also, it's possible that your bike would have a thread together Praxis BB. If you can see a notched cup for the BB on both sides this will be the case. If the BB is totally hidden then you likely have a plain BB30 (which is just some bearings) and would be able to use the BB386-30 adaptor.

Yes, I don’t think they said I need to change my BB, just that it would need an adapter. What did you need to do with your Shiv?

Your shiv came stock from Specialized's dealer with Turn crankset ?
If not, be sure to know which BB is installed in this OSSB specialized shell.

As far as I remember, P2Max give differents size of adapters.
I just had to add adapters for my crankset to fit
