Beating his own course record at 45/46 years old with a 2.41 run split.

As you get older you mantain the speed in the swim and on the bike for longer than you mantain the speed when running - but nobody told Cameron! What a LEGEND!

All the love for Cam Brown. Continues to amaze year after year! Didn't have the appreciation for him when I wasn't doing triathlon growing up in NZ. Knew his name and knew he was good but didn't win Kona...that's all I knew.

But these days he's the inspiration as I give Ironman a go. So professional, so down to earth, multiple Kona podiums, and ALL the IMNZ titles!!

Putting aside national allegiances, I would guess there would be few athletes in the sport who would make a more popular Kona winner.
