This will be interesting to see how it plays out. I work for a large multinational and responsible for machining, castings, and extrusions which primarily are aluminum. There is already a tariff on extruded aluminum from China to the tune of around 20%.
I'm hoping that our subcontractors don't try to utilize this news as an opportunity to increase pricing as most procure from US sources already.
