Has anyone had any luck using the edco momoblock cassette? I have an old Zipp 10 speed I want to convert to 11 speed.

Not sure exactly what he did, but my local tri shop mechanic converted two pairs of Zipp 101's and an older pair of Zipp Firecrests from 10spd to 11spd for me, without difficulty. I can ask him on Tuesday. That cassette you list was not used.

I have a friend in a machine shop that has done the exact same thing. Just took out 1.8mm on the back-side of the cassette.

Campagnolo freehub and cassette. Job done.
No machining needed ( maybe a slight redish of the wheel)

The edco cassettes are a bit problematic.

But, if it helps you, several easy (and some free !) 10 speed to 11 speed "conversion" solutions are listed here:

I have had no problems running and Edco mono block 11 speed cassette on my older Zipp wheel. Take your time setting up the high and low limits and the indexing and it will work fine.

That is what I did with 2 wheels.. works perfect even in an otherwise Shimano groupset.

While a bit more expensive maybe, Freehub and it’s bearings are wear items so not a bad thing to replace it anyway.
You might have to reconfigure the assembly of the hub by changing the position of some spacers but that is detailed in the free hub installation instructions.

Otherwise, simple swap, no machining, no monkeying: it is an OEM solution :)
