Ghost island has been a boring bust so far.

He has survived because everyone knows he can't beat anyone at anything. Can't win a challenge, can't get any votes. I want that guy at the end with me.

Yeah, I had a feeling if Donathan didn't get voted off very early he would last to the end because of the reasons you mentioned... Although he did a good job at pushing a lot of buttons. If you act to erratic and piss to many people off they may get rid of you anyway. Domenick is a cool customer though... I think it's his to lose if he can get to the final three.

I thought the ghost island mechanism worked well back when it removed a player from tribal council. The player was essentially immune and the tribe dynamics potentially shifted depending on who was safe. It made for an interesting ability to protect someone while potentially upsetting the Navitti alliance vote count.

Then they used it like that for a whole two tribals before making it an idol/advantage factory.
