Thanks... i did quite a bit of research when I bought it years ago and it was a well thought of gun at the time... after doing some research last night it seems they started to go downhill around the time I bought one (7-10 years ago). I have an email into customer support. It seems like it’s not an uncommon issue so hopefully they will just send me a slide. I couldn’t believe it when a huge piece just broke off!
