That video had it all, but I missed most of it the first time through since I didn’t have the sound on.

First you get the dad trying to explain what it is without really knowing. Then you get a 5 second reaction to a pretty bad car crash. Then with no concern about the welfare of the accident victims you get the wife nagging the husband.

Me too. I saw that street lamp and thought, "awesome launch, but no accident, how long am I gonna keep watching." But when the real launch happened I almost crashed while sitting on the couch.

My brother has one. His front unit recently failed and a new replacement unit is on the way. Tempted myself because there is a lot of inconsiderate drivers out there who don't pay enough attention to the roads or think traffic laws don't apply to them.

I was staying near Cape Canaveral the day of a SpaceX launch this summer and went to some elevated observatory place to watch it. The takeoff wasn't all that great (seen the Space Shuttle and other rockets take off from my in-laws house in Melbourne a number of times), however the thing coming back to earth and landing was straight up unreal. I'm not one to be impressed very often, but seeing a small blip suddenly appear falling out of the sky like Ironman in The Avengers, blasting it's engines, and landing was complete bad ass. Seriously, seeing it made me proud of being human and what we can accomplish.

Interesting. What insurance purpose?
