I'm growing more and more confident that when this is all said and done the stories that are going to come out about how incompetent and screwed up things were will be nearly unbelievable.

Can't remember offhand what team the nutjob played for, but a guy did, in fact, open fire on the Obama White House in 2011. Manged to get off a half dozen or more shots with some sort of semi-automatic and it was originally played down as random city noise. It was later discovered that a number of bullets hit the WH (which is a fortress designed to stop such things) and there was quite a kerfluffle in the Secret Service and some personnel and policy changes.

Good thing nobody ever fired off a rifle in a pizza joint, based on some Internet conspiracy...
