Does the downward curve of the 3.0 saddle allow you to ride in a forward position?

The downward design strikes me as odd since the ISM premise is to ride forward in order to alleviate soft pressure points. Riding forward was always their answer when riders complained of saddle width issues. Their argument was riders were sitting to far back on their saddles if they thought their saddle was to wide, and in order to alleviate that, they must ride more forward.
