I've an original sea dweller

If I had only one, i would not do Rolex but PP, blancpain or JLC but as a daily driver the sea dweller, sea master or aqua timer are fine

My concern with PP, BP or jlc as a daily is they are really distinct, the Rolex, less so

If I literally had to choose a single watch and be done with It, would be a Rolex

If two, a Rolex and Richard mills

If it was I can only have one and a timex it would be a mille

Is Richard Mille even an option for us regular peeps?

Any thoughts on the new Stainless sky dweller? I am still on the hunt for the right watch. I thought for sure I had made my mind up on a VC Overseas, made the trip to Atlanta and had a chance to try it on and was disappointed. It just didn't look right on my wrist, I have really been trying to avoid Rolex just because they are so common but I have tried a few on and they look and feel pretty good on the wrist.

I have never been a fan of Rolex, primarily because of the size. Now, the Sky Dweller is 42 mm, which is the absolute smallest for my taste, which is far better than most. In addition, the Sky Dweller stands apart from most other Rolex faces. So, I like it. I would like it more if it were 44 mm. But, I still like it.

From a quality standpoint, it is exceptional. My opposition to most Rolex watches is based purely on aesthetics.
The only thing I am questioning on this watch is the fluted bezel, I think I would prefer a smooth bezel but understand the bezel is functional on this watch and a smooth option may make it a bit harder to use.

Bezel on sea dweller is pretty stiff

SD is 44

I don't think I'd go 42. I have a small wrist and the SD is about right

The omega is 45.5 and too big.

I dunno. That is one of the things I like about this watch.

And chrono 24 they have them from 26

I am guessing if I contacted a dealer he can find them from 25 up depending on the model

Obviously not a masse or Nadal, but they are not all 6 figures

Yeah. I was so happy with my milgauss - i saw it years ago in an ad - Federer was wearing one. I finally got one and then Nadal goes and ruins my buzz...

I don't understand the sky dweller. It's too busy to be a dress watch and makes for an awkward GMT. If you like that style I'd rather have an Datejust or an Oyster. If you're after a GMT I'd rather have a Explorer I, II or GMT Master.

That may be the ugliest watch I've seen yet, never mind the silly price tag.

I think I would prefer if it had a more casual looking bezel. I am also looking for other options along this line.
