Ironman Mont Tremblant Camping/RVing
Anyone have any recommendations on where to camp/rv around Ironman Mont Tremblant? We would be driving our RV there potentially in 2017 for the race and want to camp fairly close so family can see the race. Also does this race sell out fairly quick?

Thanks!

I'm curious if you ever found an answer on this.

If your RV is self contained and you dont need hook ups, then the best place is the parking lots at the base of the slopes on chemin Duplessis. They are free, there is an entire one dedicated to RV's (P3) it has a shuttle running from it to transition. There are other lots closer (P2/P6) within easy walking distance, but you need to have a smaller RV or come in at night to park there (lot volunteers will send you to RV lot (P3) further up the hill. If you have a Mtn Bike or anything, then the lot doesnt really matter as there is a paved trail from P3 that passes P6/P2 and goes to Transition/Check in..

P2 (parking lot closest to Transition) has an indoor bathroom, which is great for the week leading up to the race, as you don't need to spoil your own if you dont want to, but useless on race morning, as there is one stall.

If you need hook ups, then you need to just get to a campground and they are further away and much less convenient. If you look on googlemaps you can see the parking lots and numbers on map view to get a feel for where they are in relation to Transition which is in P1.
