Re: WTB Powertap PRO or SL pref with a rim [BritRacer]
[ In reply to ]
I have a powertap sl in Hed Alps race wheels. They were purchased in May
and mainly have been riden in Central Park (relative smooth surface). The powertap works flawlessly and the wheels are true. A few minor scratches here and there, but just cosmetic.
Hed Alps are lightweight carbon race wheels that are strong enough to train
on. You can read about them here http://www.hedcycling.com/wheels/alps.php
If you google them, you'll see that they are very aero- similar to Zipp 404s
I purchased the wheel/powertap sl combo from Analyticcyling.com for about
$1900 http://www.analyticcycling.com/CycleOps/PowerTapProducts.html
I'd be willing to sell the wheelset for $1500 (firm). Great wheels and powertap is awesome; I'm only selling as my wife has one and we found that we don't need two. I use the same username on Ebay (umagumm) and I have 100% positive feedback there.
