doing some comparisons on discs... Looking for info on the Campy Ghibli. Campy's site didn't have much info... only 995 grams for track rear... It is lenticular, correct? Whats the weight in grams [700 tubular cassette]? Retail Price?

really really really really f*cking expensive....

the campy disc and the mavic disc are WAYYYYY overpriced... (i think the mavic one is close to 4.5K CDN, the campy is less i think, but not by much)

better options out there, unless of course, you have the cash, then go for it! (the white looks cool)

Man oh man I love Campy...(if you all had not noticed)....

But if there is one thing that is a TOTAL waste of money it is that Ghibli disk. I mean really...that disk cost more than many whole bikes and offers nothing more that the Zipp (or argueably the Renn). You can get all the information you want on the Ghibli at http://www.campagnolo.com/pdf/SpecsWheelsEN.pdf . You are talking $3,000.00 US for that wheel...why not get the new 909-Z3? So its hollow, no honeycomb or foam in it...big deal...still no lighter than a 909! So you like that neat triangle on it...have decals made for you new 909! I actually dont know of anyone who had PURCHASED that wheel with out a sponsor paying for it and providing it at cost from distie.

Here is Campy's site on the Ghibli

What if the Hokey Pokey is what it is all about?

No arguement about it, they all do the same thing. So do my CH Aero covers w/Mavic CL 330 box rim, dura-ace hub and cassette. Aesthetic value and snob appeal is one thing, but performance is entirely another. They'd all test about the same in the wind tunnel.

Just gathering info to compare only. Found the info... Except, what shape is the Campy disk? Flat or Lenticular? I can't really tell from the photos. Thanks all!
