Thanks, Kathy. That was the most brutal race in the ten years that I have been doing Kona. Such a battle with the wind.
I'm still waiting to hear on my special permit from the Bureau of Foreign Assets at the US Treasury Department to get that permit to go to Cuba for their Ironman,
We're leaving in an hour to go on a helicopter ride over the lava. It will probably end up being a $450 nap.

i was watching you and half-speed's sister (elizabeth) and you were in 2nd through the first part of the bike (SO AWESOME) but held so strong through that brutal day. SO in awe of you! have a GREAT helicopter ride! (didn't mean for you to out yourself on ST)

it was half-speed's sister, elizabeth. he says you guys are friends? she was behind you went i went to bed (after falling asleep sitting up at the computer twice :)) and WOW she moved up quite a bit on the run. 6th!
