FSA compact update 1
just finished putting them on. I switched from a 53/39 to the 50/34 and did not have to remove any chain. Maybe it was too short to start with, I don't know. Lowered and readjusted the front derailuer and it shifted in the stand with no problem from the get go. I can't actually ride today, time for Bday party, but took it for a spin around the neighborhood and it didn't seem to shift any better or worse than my larger rings.

More to follow,

Brian

I got mine Friday, put it on Saturday and climbed Sunday. There are a group of guys I ride with and I am normally the boat anchor of the group. I was hanging with them yesterday! I love this set-up for my climbing bike. I previously ran a 52-39 front with a 13-25 9 speed rear. The new set up is 50-34 front with 12-25 10 speed rear. This yielded 1 bigger gear and 2 easier.
