How's this for good service...
My three-year-old Polar watch went dead. Since I really want it waterproof, I decided to send it to Polar for battery replacement. They also check over the chest transmitter, so $13.95 sounded worth it.
The back had some corrosion on it, so I included a note that said, "If you can't ensure it's waterproof, don't service it; I'll just buy a new one."
I just got it back from them. The invoice was for $13.95 for "battery replacement" and a "new elastic strap". In the package was a brand spanking new watch and HR transmitter and strap.
I'm a customer for life.
