DeSoto Forze Help....
My go to race short are the DeSoto Forza but my current pairs all need to be replaced. And I can't seem to find them in stock anywhere. Any recommendations for either a different style/brand or a shop that might have them in stock? I also wear 400 mile shorts but prefer the forza for racing as its a more comfortable run.

Also, has the Forza always been the Forza Riveria or is there a new style. Granted I last bought a pair in 2011 so I am sure things have changed.

It looks like Amazon has them

Good luck. I'm in the middle of trying to figure out if I want to spend the money to replace my tri gear. This is sure a costly sport.

I used to wear Desoto Forza shorts but have now changed to SOAS. I am very small (read short!) so find the shorter leg length of SOAS more comfortable.

Hello Instigator,

A lot has changed here at De Soto even since 2013, starting with our new Ceramico Integrated Pads. Read below and let me know if I can answer an questions for you.

http://www.desotosport.com/products/ceramico.php

DE SOTO CERAMICO PAD - PATENT PENDING No. 72551-20001.00
Ceramico™ is a polyurethane based coating embedded to the outside of pad with rock-hard ceramic beads. You actually see these beads on the outside of the pad, and therefore, from the outside of the garment!. The Integrated pad is sewn onto the surrounding panels, instead of inside the short, so there is no fabric covering the pad, and so there are no seams on any part of where you sit. The inside of the pad is a soft plush fiber that stretches with the short and follows your skin as it moves on the bike and run, eliminating the friction that can cause irritation or rashes. Since the pad floats, you will not be bogged down if you chose to wear this garment under a wetsuit for a long race. This environmentally-friendly innovation is completely free of solvents.
