Training Camp Manager
Carmichael Training Systems has been helping endurance athletes accomplish their racing and training goals through coaching and training camps for over 10 years. We have national and international training camps and race support. We specialize in cycling (both mountain and road), and triathlon camps. Our training camps are not only a major revenue source for CTS, but more importantly, an integral component of our brand and training heritage.
We are looking for a skilled, detail oriented individual to manage existing camps and work with a team to create new training camps.
Experience
1. 3-5 years experience in event management experience required
2. Knowledge of and/or experience in the bike industry or related endurance industry
3. Someone with a combination of bike industry experience and event management/bike tour management would be the ideal candidate
Job Duties
1. Create and maintain budgets for each training camp to ensure profitability
2. Work with local hotels, race directors, etc to secure contracts for camps
3. Create information sheets for every camp to promote event on CTS web site
4. Work directly with Sales/Marketing Director on ideas to promote and sell camp slots
5. Coordinate with CTS coaches and management to delegate duties for every camp
6. Work with our nutrition sponsor to create detailed budgets for sufficient sports nutrition products at all camps
7. Travel required to some of the larger camps- including international travel
8. Work closely with CTS Directors in creating new camps
9. Small percentage of work will be fielding incoming coaching/camp sales calls
10. New sales processing including processing credit cards and additional athlete services duties
