haven't tried the "new" Tufo tape, but the only place for the old Tufo tape was the trash bin... Pretty much every tubular that I have ever witnessed rolling off the rim was done using the Tufo tape... Many glued by very experienced folks with many years of installing tubulars under their belts.

I'd personally steer clear of their products, and if I ever felt inclined to go with tape, there are better systems out there...

Conti glue- if you have carbon rims, get the specific type for carbon. The carbon compound seems easier to get off too.

 

i use both .. 'belgian method'. haven't rolled one since i started doing it that way.
