Timberman Tri; what a great race!
I was at Timberman with my wife this weekend. She raced, I rode the bike course. My swimming still isn't ready after shoulder surgery this spring. This is the perfect race. Want a perfectly measured course? This is it. Great aid stations, right here. Beautiful, correctly measured swim; he did it. Great food, great expo, lots of parking at the start/finish, you name it, they did it all right. The course is challenging and fast. It's hard to explain but that's what it is. I loved it. My wife said it was the best race she has done it 16 years of triathlon. (and the list includes Kona). This race settles the issue of race distances being accurate. If Timberman can do it perfectly in their third year, the other guys should be able to do it if they try. Incidently, I was told that it was perfect the first year.

Agreed. Keith Jordan puts on an outstanding race. What's great is that we'll all get a feedback form in email soon, to make sure next year's race is that much better. There's a few race companies around here that have been in the biz for a while, and they do not even come close to the quality of Endorfun. Sept 20 is Granite Ledges (another Endorfun race) which is slightly longer than olympic dist. - 1.5k, 44k, and 10k.

From what I have heard, it is run just as well as Timberman.

full disclosure: I have absolutely no relation to Keith Jordan, and have nothing to gain from praising his race... just giving credit where credit is due.
