post-race diet problems
my season just ended this weekend, and so i've begun to let myself go - beer, pop, whatever i want to eat, less sleep, no excersize. before you call me an idiot, you should know that this hedonism is only going to be for one week, then it's back to school and so i'll try to work out regularly and eat/sleep properly - hopefully my athletic discipline will translate into the world of academics.

my question is about my appetite. for the first 5 days after my race, i had to force myself to eat, i probably took in only 1000 calories a day. i'm sure i've lost weight, which is not something i need to do. i've finally regained my appetite and am eating 3 or 4 meals a day as usual, but that was scary.

has this happened to anyone else? is there a way to prevent it next season?
