yo. can your DA do this ?? last year a scumbag menace a-hole ran a tri-head off the road in my county, got into a shoving match, got in his sh*&-ass truck and rammed head on into said tri-head trying to kill him. the tri-head was black. the incident did carry racial overtones, but the main factor in the prosecution was the incident itself - the DA used the race issue to increase the incident into a hate crime, and the scumbag is now off the the big house for 12 years.

the tri-head was uninjured, tho i did see his javelin in the evidence room and it was hurting.

so, due the DA's diligence, a bicycle ramming criminal is off to prison for 12 years, and the tri-head is fine and dandy. this i note as signicant, given some cases i have seen where a guy gets freaking killed and the driver gets next to nothing. go, local small town DA !!!!
