Has anyone reviewed the new course changes? The only difference I can see is on the bike leg where, in the first part of the course, cyclists go up Kuakini Hwy (same as before) and then turn around and come back down Kuakini to Palani before getting on the Queen K. Not a big deal but that road can be a little bumpy. Maybe I am missing something else? The course maps do indicate that the swim/bike transition is at the King K Hotel - I heard rumors that the transition was going to move off the pier to the King K parking lot. Can anyone confirm?

as mentioned below, looks like there is now a single transition area. so in addition to the change you mentioned, the end of the bike course will be slightly different. hard to tell from the map, but it also looks like the first run turnaround is slightly further down alii. this obviously makes sense if t2 is at the king kam and you've cut out the first mile or two of the run.
