The latest on the Williamsburg IM bid is that the group made the short list along with 4 other cities including Panama City. I don't have vis on when the decision will come down.

I had the pins removed from my hand yesterday. I'm healed enough to run just a bit, but the wreck stretched all the ligaments and tendons in the left ankle. There was also a significant tear in the achilles tendon. I'm taking return to activity very slowly. The hand wouldn't let me ride with the pins because there was no position that didn't put pressure on them. Although I'm quite competitive, I certainly have no reason to attempt a Tyler Hamilton escapade. I can wait until I can do it without pain. At this point I've pretty much written this season off.
