Eric, Congratulations!
Am I doing the math right? You ran 2.5 in 13:57, which is 5:34 pace, right? That's a phenominal run split -- you deserve to be on the podium with a performance like that!
What in the world was chasing you to get an old man (we're in the same age group) to run like that? Remind me not to go bear hunting with you! Freaking fast, man!

I have no clue how i did it I felt great out of the water then the bike just flowed I only got passed by 2 other riders and when I went out for the run Iwas going hard but cruising. I got passed by a guy in his 20's that was 6'4" all legs and maybe 160 pounds and I just tried to stay with him. In training I usually run hills up at 3000 ft and average 7:05s for 6+ miles. this run was flat and at sea level but still I don't believe it. Race of my life I guess

Awesome! From what you've told me about your cycling and taking into account that run split I'm amazed that there were 2 guys ahead of you.
