Computer going in and out.
My computer was fading in and out. It is 1 yer old. I took it of the "bar connector" and there was a lot of guck from sweat on the contacts. I cleaned them and it seems to have helped. Is this it? Anythign else I can do? I do not want it to go out at my race this weekend. Thansk

probably the contacts if they are gunked. In addition to just wiping them off, you can give them a swipe with real fine sandpaper too.

Clean the contacts with a Q-tip dipped in alcohol, and replace the battery. That ought to do it for you.

Also check the speed and cadence sensor alignment (if so equipped). Ocassionally when I remove the front wheel it bumps the speed sensor and shifts it slightly out of position so it's too far from the magnet to get a consistent reading. One of your sensors or magnets may have slipped a little.
