Armstrong's "problems" ...
I just saw this quote in a Reuters report:

"I had some problems before the Tour that I didn't elaborate on but I'm feeling better and better every day. I wasn't sharp in the prologue, I was bad Monday, yesterday was better and today even more so," Armstrong said.

I wonder what his "problems" were.

Well . . the tumble that he took in the Dauphine was not a light one and I read that he said it took him longer to recover from the fall and the abrasions than he expected.

I thought I heard Bruyneel say he had some stomach ailment. I want to say it was due to the crash at Dauphine Libere and the course of antibiotics he had to take. Not positive though so don't quote me on it.

I saw an interview were Lance mentioned that his recovery did not go as easily as planned. His reaction to the antibiotic caused him intestinal discomfort. Based on today's results, I think he is OK
