Can someone refresh my memory as to the various advantages/disadvantages of the different sized tires; 700x20, 700x23...Which would be most appropriate for which types of roads, etc.?

smaller the number the narrower
the wider the more comfortable
the wider the better for worse roads
honestly the difference between a 20 and a 23 is not a whole heck of a lot. Depending on what wheel you use there is supposed to be some slight aero advantage to the 20
