Mine is probably about 6 or 7 yrs old and says "WR 100 M" on it, which I assume is the model. Still works fine so I have no reason to change it.

WR 100M stands for water resistant 100 M. I have the Timex Triathlon model in black and orange. Great watch and easy to use!

Duh. Should have realized that. I thought it meant World Record 100 Metres but wasn't sure if that was for the swim or run.

Not sure if you've picked one, but the last 4 I've ordered have all come off amazon.com - its amazing how cheap some of them are on there compared to retail price...amazon seems about what I would expect to pay, some of the retail is crazy.

I guess maybe I'm a timex watch whore...three of the last 4 were probably bought over the last year or year and a half - and not because the others were breaking, just because I like them!

I use the 50 lap sleek, and I go through 2, sometimes 3, a year. (YMMV, since I take mine off maybe once or twice a month and they might not be made for CONSTANT wear.) They're cheap and sometimes do break, but they're also, well, cheap, easy to replace, and ubiquitous.
