Speeding up T1/T2 with shoes...

I've seen a few sites and posts (including some by Olympic and sprint world champs) advocating putting Vaseline on the back of your shoes to ease ingress. Although the concept sounds interesting (because I have difficulty getting my shoes on quickly sometimes), the thought of that nasty stuff on my shoes is not very appealing.

I was wondering, though... could you use some type of water-soluable lubricant like KY-Jelly?

I use the body glide that is made for under your wetsuit and other chafe areas... doen's leave a residue after the race either
