Re: Triathlon in France - Bike Rules [felix__w] [ In reply to ]

I am back from Southern France where I did a medium distance tri (2.8/80/20km). I was really no problem to race with bullhorns and bar end shifter. The only thing the checked before entering transition area was, that the helmet was on the head with the strap closed.
The race was hard because there was a lot of climbing (900m) and the roads were not that good and had quite a lot of curves.
And the temperatures were about 34C (over 90F) during the bike and run because we started only at 10:30am.

Hi Cam,

How was the Tri Sapin Cublize? Did you have no problems with your bike setup (like me in Carcassonne)?
Is the race worth going there? Because it is close to the Swiss border, this would be a good triathlon for me.

Regards,
Felix
