What do most people wear in a non-wetsuit race? What can you wear during the swim? It would seem to me, you'd have to put your HR strap on after the swim along with a race top for the bike & run. Any thoughts or experience would be appreciated.

I wear my tri bottoms only (desoto tri shorts). I throw on the shirt and hr at transition. I assume you're talking about Keauhou. Many people wear one piece suits. I don't like them. A couple of other tips regarding the race. If you wear a tank top make sure you put lots and lots of sun screen on. I also put some in my bike/run transition bag to freshen it up.
Yeah Keauhou. That was what I was thinking - just tri shorts. Thanks for the heads up on the sunscreen.
