Ullrich question (good fit for tyler/csc?)
Can some one tell me what the mos recent suspension of Coast is al about... if Coast is suspended for the year is Ullirch a "free agent" and if so what teams would he be a good fit for?

Do you think that Ullrich would be a good fit for CSC and Tyler? who would work for who? Tyler left USPS to be a leader but ullrich as a domestique???

How about USPS, would they snatch him to absorb a potential rival for Lance? kinda like how they locked up Heras?

It would be a shame not to se Ullrich in the tour... the Ullrich lance tour (2001) was definately one of the most interesting in recent memory

This is the press release from the UCI web site.

UCI | PRESS RELEASE / COMMUNIQUE DE PRESSE:
08.05.2003 : Aigle, SUI

SUSPENSION OF TEAM COAST :

The UCI has recorded that Team Coast TT has still not paid the April salary owed to its riders.

This situation unfortunately demonstrates that the structural problems of this TT remain severe, despite all steps that were undertaken by the UCI to protect the interest of the riders.

Consequently, and according to the UCI Regulations, Team Coast is suspended with immediate effect.

Reinstatement of this TT is submitted to the introduction of structural or other measures providing for a sufficient guarantee that the obligations will be executed until the end of the year.

Team Coast TT is therefore not authorized as of today, to participate to any events on the international calendar.

Coast has had trouble paying its riders. Usually a team is required to post a certain amount of money to a protected account to make sure its riders are paid. Because of the trouble, I believe Coast was required to post even more, and has not. Bianchi may step up and post the required funds for an increased share of sponsorship.

Ullrich is a teamleader. Tyler is also. Putting the two on one team would split loyalties, and be bad for the team, I believe.
