Scoliosis and Bike Fit
Is there anybody on this forum that has had scoliosis surgery and now has a Harrington rod? My wife had the operation as a young teen, and getting comfortable on a road bike has been tough for her. She's 5' 7" but will likely need a bike with a much shorter TT than the 53 she currently has. I just want to know if anybody has found a decent fitter and resulting bike in the process.

Edit: To clarify, I am not solicting a sale here, but rather just looking for advice.

Thanks.

Jim

I'd see Todd Carver (currently of Retul, formerly of Boulder Center for Sports Medicine) or Andy Pruitt (currently of BCSM). Those guys have a lot of experience with people who don't fall within the norm. I know Todd, and he's a first rate fitter. Don't know Andy except by reputation. Either way, you're ending up in Boulder. :)

Thanks, but we are in northern Alberta, which is about a sixteen hour drive to Penticton!
This would be a fine excuse to fly to Denver and go to Boulder, though.
Thanks for the suggestions.
