De Soto doesn't make the "Boy Shorts" anymore anyway (though they were great for swimming and bikram yoga and had no pad.) However, they do make the Micro Tri Short with a small fleece pad. I LOVE these shorts and the inseam is a bit longer than the Boy Shorts. They are great for bike rides up to 100K or long runs (I have run up to 20 miles) and are sooo comfortable. This is all I wear to spin as well. Know that they run a bit small, so the small is closer to an XS in my opinion. And they have an all black option.
