i ride a stock 2001 version of this bike and like it just fine. very comfy in the aero position. From what i can remember, the only changes in 02 were the hourglass stays, integrated headset, wheels and paint. i imagine the hourglass stays should reduce road vibrations and the Velocity wheels are probably an improvement over the Sun rims on the 01. make sure to get the QR seat cover - these bikes are known for having uncomfortable saddles... it's true.

This was my first road or tri bike so i have nothing to compare it to but i have had nothing but a good experience with the bike. Now if i could only ride as fast as i think i look!
