From the most recent participant newsletter on the tricalifornia site...

The water temperature is warmer than normal for this time of year and may reach up to a toastie 68-70 degrees. However, if the stormy skies continue, the water will probably stay around 65 degrees.

Thanks, Meg. I have two wetsuits; full and sleeveless. I am considering the sleeveless for this event.

I don't have a number for you but I swam in it yesterday and it was cold. If I had to pick a number I would say lower 60's. However you probably know your cold water tolerance, I am a wuss for cold water but I was able to swim for 30 min with a full sleeve and had mild numbness in feet and hands after. I wouldn't even consider a sleveless but that's me. It's a pretty big lake so I don't see how its going to warm up 5 degrees in two weeks but then again what do I know.
