I was bored today so rather than toss a tubie i patched it. . The last time I did it was about 30 years ago. It took about an hour, just sitting in the sun in the back yard. I figured that it will now be a training tubie! It was fairly new, maybe 100 miles on it. I did not want to toss the 50 bucks. Are there other cheap SOB's out there who patch tubies for training? I will use new ones for the races

Whats next sox.
I've done a few. It's definitely a bitch, but it's worth it. Plus it really feels like an accomplishment. Just don't let your significant other know you can sew--your "honey do" list will start to grow!
